Plant Forms

As a starting point of inspiration I have been looking at plant forms and also surfaces of natural fruits.

I wanted to experiment more with line in my drawings and try to replicate the different surfaces and textures which you see.

I have worked on top on my surface prints of fruits with the imagery of plant forms which I have been drawing. I liked using the machine stitch as a pencil to mark down my drawings and create textures through lines.

My samples will be developed into sellable retail interior products. For this I am going to make a range of Tea Towels, Cushions and a Wash/Make up Bag.
